Cherry Blossoms Two-Page Scrapbook Spread

I was playing around with the Japan Blossoms Digital Kit over the weekend and created this two-page scrapbook spread.  It was really simple and quick to complete (after I did all the fussy cutting, lol).

Cherry Blossoms

I printed page 45 from the Japan Blossoms Digital Kit and cut out the two top images.  Both images are approximately 7-1/2" x 2-3/4". Images were glued to a 7-3/4" x 3" piece of coordinating cardstock from Stampin'Up! (Flirty Flamingo) and glued to the bottom of each page of the two-page layout.

I cut the remaining piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock in half and glued one piece to each of the pages to be used as either a journaling spot or to add a photo.

I used a small piece of Flirty Flamingo and cut out Cherry Blossoms with an alphabet die and glued the words on both pages of the spread.

I printed page 85, one sheet of the ephemera provided in the kit, in two different sizes and fussy cut them out.  I glued the flowers randomly over the two pages.

I hope you enjoyed these simple scrapbook pages.  Please leave a comment.  I will draw one name on Friday, August 2nd, and send these pages to that person.

Graphics Fairy Collage Challenge for week of July 22, 2024

French Floral Motifs is Graphics Fairy's download for this week.  Diana and I completed our collages and are shown below.  Diana's is on the left and mine is on the right.

Graphics Fairy offers so many elements each week for us to choose from, which allows us to create totally different collages while using the same images.

Graphics Fairy Collage Challenge for week of July 1, 2024

NEW YORK, NEW YORK was the theme for July 1, 2024 from Graphic's Fairy for their weekly Collage Challenge.  New York is a lovely town with so many interesting places to visit.  My favorite, the Statue of Liberty!

Diana's is on the left, mine (Brenda's) is on the right.

Isn't it amazing how we both use the images given to us but have totally different looks?  I love Diana's large New York definition.  It is spot on!

Graphics Fairy Collage Challenge for week of June 24, 2024

London's Treasures' images were provided by Graphic's Fairy's for the June 24, 2024 Collage Challenge.  Who doesn't love London with its Big Ben, London Tower, Covent Garden and especially the Buckingham Palace Guards. Yummy!

Diana's creation is on the left, Brenda's (mine) is on the right.  Enjoy!

I do want to apologize for the delay in posting these collages, but my husband and I took a few weeks off to go visit our daughter and her family in the Northwest.  Can you say 7000 miles on the car in three weeks?  Yep, too much "windshield" time, lol.  But we did enjoy ourselves thoroughly and are glad to be back home again.

Japan Blossoms Anyone?

I have been busy creating greeting cards using the Japan Blossoms Digital Kit by Paperomia.  Oh, my gosh, can you say beautiful?

The images are fantastic -- blossoms everywhere, pagodas, Geisha Girls, mountains -- this kit covers it all.

Japan Blossoms consists of 50 full page designs, 15 two-page designs (great for journals), 16 pages of fabric and note pages (great for printing on the backside of pages) and 9 pages of sticker sheets, pockets, stamps, tags, polaroid and washi tape.  Japan Blossoms is another of Paperomia's kits that keep on giving!

Be sure to visit Paperomia's etsy shop and follow her on instagram and youtube.

I purposely left off a greeting at this time because I am not sure if they are going to be birthday cards, Miss You cards, Thinking of You cards or Anniversary cards.

I hope you like them.  Please leave me comment and one lucky person will receive one of these cards, just leave me a note stating which  one you like best and what you would like the greeting to say.

Interested in the Ocean, Keys, Summer or Clocks?

I joined a swap where I needed to create four ATC (football card size) designs. Yep, you guessed it!  The categories were ocean, keys, summer and clocks.  Here are the cards I am sending to my swap partner.

Sure hope Karen likes them.

Ephemera Holder using the Spring Collection by Paperomia

June is drawing to a close and so is the time I will be working with this beautiful SPRING COLLECTION by Paperomia.  It has been a great pleasure working with this collection.  It consists of 105 beautiful floral papers and a 23-page ephemera package.  To end the month of June and my projects working with the Spring Collection, I have created an ephemera holder using tags from the ephemera package.

I resized a tag as large as I could get it (5-3/8" x 9-5/8") and used it as a template to cut out a "tag" from each of the different color groups, decorated them and added a ton of ephemera. To reinforce the hole at the top, I used an 1/8" circle punch to create the center, then I used a 1/2" circle punch to punch around the small hole, viola' a reinforcement. I placed these on the front and back of each tag for durability.

Ephemera Holder

I hope you enjoyed watching the video. Be sure to come back often.  I will be creating projects using the Japan Blossoms Collection by Paperomia which can be found here.

Be sure to check out Paperomia's Etsy Shop at etsy and follow her on instagram and on her youtube channel.
