Flips and Tucks
A POCKET is where you store/place an item(s). In Junk Journaling pockets are used to place tags, journaling cards, ephemera, embellishments, etc. There are many, many different types of pockets. Today we are featuring Flips and Tucks. With a FLIP you can decorate both the top and inside. A TUCK is exactly what it sounds like -- you can tuck ephemera or embellishments under it.
Any size will work -- the size will depend on the journal size you are making. For demonstration purposes, we are using an 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of double-sided scrapbook paper.
SUPPLIES:
2 Sheets of 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of scrapbook paper Glue
One sheet of tracing paper Coordinating Washi Tape
Journaling Paper (notebook paper, etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper at 5" x 8-1/2"
Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper at 3-1/2" x 5" (
